Bring your best friend: Our pet policy

We’re proud to be the first rented apartment block in Greater Manchester to allow pets to stay. There are a few simple guidelines, but a member of our team will always be available to help.

So, what is The Slate Yard’s Pet Policy?
If you live at The Slate Yard and you would like to keep a pet in your home, our main aim is to provide a safe and hygienic environment where you can enjoy time with your pets.

How do I apply?
First, you’ll have to fill out a couple of forms, and we’ll carry out a risk assessment to ensure that every resident will be safe and happy around your pet.

Naturally, not all animals will be accepted onto the premises – we just don’t have the space for giraffes. However, once we take you though the pet policy, you’ll gain a better idea of which pets we allow – we are also happy to advise you before you buy your new puppy.

After that, we’ll review your application and if you’re successful you and your pet can start enjoying The Slate Yard lifestyle.

At The Slate Yard, we think the world of your companions, and we’re confident that you’ll spoil them rotten. But we’ve tasked our team with the important job of being vigilant. If they believe that your pet is being neglected, they are obligated to report it to the appropriate authorities.

When in the lounge or other communal areas of The Slate Yard we request that all pets stay on a lead to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone living here, including your pet neighbours.
